Barber Barber are a successful chain of professional barbershops who place service and experience above all else. Unsatisfied by existing grooming products on the market, the brand’s founder created a range of high performance male styling products that allow his customers to take the barbershop experience home with them.

The brief was to create a brand identity for the Barber Barber range, and a platform to tell a cohesive story from the DTC to the barbershops, to the packaging in the customers’ hands.

I drew inspiration from the richly eclectic playground of the Barber Barber shop floors, that are as unique and varied as its customers. Where traditional cues such as aged wooden panels, red leather chairs and porcelain sinks are married with red neon signage, circus-inspired light-bulb adorned mirrors and even a yellow gorilla statue! The brand is as playful and full of personality as its founder, balanced and grounded by rich blacks and seductive product photography to create a look and feel that is bold, charismatic and distinctive.
